Abstract
ـ The purpose of this research was to model the integration of the theory of planned behavior and the five-factor model of personality on the investment intention of retail shareholders in the Tehran Stock Exchange. The research method in this research was descriptive correlation type. The statistical population of this research includes all small shareholders active in the Tehran Stock Exchange, 384 people were selected as a sample based on the available sampling method and using Cochran's indeterminate formula. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. At the descriptive level of data analysis, average and standard deviation statistics were used. In addition, the data were analyzed by using SPSS26 and smart pls software through structural equation modeling. The results showed that the subjective norm, the attitude towards stock investment and the perceived behavioral control have a positive and significant effect on the investment intention of retail shareholders in the Tehran Stock Exchange. Also, the subjective norm has a positive effect on people's attitude towards investing in stocks. And it is meaningful. In addition, personality traits including extroversion, openness to experience, neuroticism, adaptability and responsibility on the subjective norm, attitude towards stock investment and the perceived behavioral control of small shareholders in the formation of their intention to invest in the Tehran Stock Exchange. , have a significant effect.
