The general purpose of financial reporting is to provide financial information about the reporting unit that is useful for stakeholders' decisions. In this regard, corporate sustainability reporting is qualitative features that increases the usefulness of information and makes users make better and more efficient investment decisions when evaluating alternative opportunities. The purpose of this research is to study the origins and consequences related to the amount of balanced corporate sustainability reporting. To measure corporate sustainability, a model is used that tries to create interaction and balance between the expectations of stakeholders and the company's capacities in relation to the disclosure of components related to corporate sustainability. The statistical sample of the research includes 137 companies admitted to the Tehran Stock Exchange during the years 2017 to 2021. Multivariate regression has been used to test research hypotheses. The results of the research hypotheses test show that government ownership has a direct effect on the overall index and all aspects of corporate sustainability. The ownership of the board members has a direct impact on the total index of corporate sustainability, disclosure from the general, economic and environmental aspects and finally, the overall index of corporate sustainability, disclosure from a public, economic aspect has a direct impact on the value of the company and stock returns.
