Investment decisions are very important for managing current needs and future goals, and individuals and families spend considerable time and resources on financial planning, and much research has documented the importance of such decisions. The statistical population of this research is all investors. Considering the unlimitedness of the statistical population and considering Cochran's formula, 384 people were selected by available sampling method and the questionnaire was distributed among them. The content validity method was used to determine the validity of the questionnaires, and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to determine the reliability of the questionnaires, and the coefficients showed that the data collection tool has high reliability. In this research, SPSS software and SmartPls software were used for data analysis. The results of the present study showed that individual characteristics (including psychological characteristics, personality characteristics and risk-taking attitude) have a significant effect on investment decisions.
