Abstract
The purpose of this research is to provide a model to increase the profitability of small and medium businesses based on digital transformation. The current research community was formed by experienced executive experts in small and medium-sized companies active in the automotive industry, based in Tehran province. In this research, the opinions of 12 experts were used using the objective judgment method. The process of data analysis was done in four steps. Identifying the effective factors through interviews and using the theme analysis method and finally, drawing the initial model; Validation of research model components through questionnaire tool and fuzzy Delphi method and prioritization of factors and components through questionnaire tool and fuzzy prioritization method.
This model includes four main dimensions of barriers to digital transformation (respectively including the lack of a common digital platform, lack of digital capabilities, lack of significant investment, costs of adopting digital transformation and lack of skilled manpower), the role and support of the government (respectively including Development of the digital platform by the government, improvement of the regulatory role of the government, creation of a co-production ecosystem by the government, digital education by the government and promotion of digital exchanges by the government)Strategies (respectively including efforts to create positive organizational changes based on digital transformation, improving processes through digital technology, creating innovation in products and services through digital technology, as well as providing customer values and needs through digital technology) as well as the consequences of increasing business profitability f- Small and medium-sized businesses
